Security: Your credit card information and other personal data will be treated with the highest standards of safety, security, and confidentiality. Orders placed on our site are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, so be assured that your transactions are protected.

Privacy Policy: We are committed to ensuring your privacy as a customer. Please visit our Privacy page for more information on privacy. If you have questions about this policy, or if you believe you received an email from us that is in violation of this policy, please report it using our Contact Us page.

Guarantee and Return Policy: At Henrietta's Handbags, we take pride in the quality of our products. It is very important to us that you are both happy and fully satisfied with any items purchased from us. Accordingly, if the product does not meet your expectations upon arrival, you have 7 days to return your unused merchandise for a prompt refund of the purchase price of the item, including any NC state taxes paid, but excluding the shipping fee. If you paid by credit card, then your card will be credited as soon as the returned item is received and processed, typically, within three business days. Credit card companies vary on the time it takes for credit to appear on their customer's records. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement. Returned item(s) must be unused and in the same condition as received. You will receive an email when the return has been processed and your payment refund credited.

Copyright: All pattern on this website are copyrighted, and the respective pattern designer places restrictions on the use of their designs for commercial purposes. The patterns typically include a statement such as "...designs are protected by Copyright. Patterns are for personal use of the purchaser and bags must not be reproduced to gain profit." The designer has created intellectual property (IP), and reserves the right to license the design to manufacturers. The individula pattern desgner should be contacted for an applicable licensing agreement.

Payment Options: We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express credit cards, PayPal, and money orders, in US Dollars drawn on a US bank. Personal checks will be accepted for USA orders only, in US dollars drawn on a US bank. We do not accept C.O.D's. For customers who do not wish to enter their credit card information online, we offer an option during the checkout process for telephone orders, but this is for USA customers only. If this option is selected, please enter in the comments section the best time to call for your credit card information. We will call you within one business day.

Shipping Options: We offer shipping via the United States Postal Service, with the option for either First Class Mail or Priority Mail. For domestic First Class Mail there is a maximum weight of 13 ounces. For First Class Mail International, the maximum weight is 4 pounds.

How Do I place an order and check Out?

You place a pattern in the shopping cart by entering quantity '1' and clicking on the 'add selected items to cart' button. After you have placed the desired patterns in the shopping cart, go to the shopping cart by clicking the 'shopping cart' link. Review the shopping cart contents. If you wish to estimate the shipping costs, enter your shipping location and click on the 'update' button. To proceed with the order, click on the 'go to checkout' button. Enter your name, address, phone number, and email address, and then click on the'confirm order' button. Scroll down and select the desired payment option, then click on the 'confirm order' button. Please wait for the order to complete processing.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax will be added to the purchase price only for delivery to residents of the state of North Carolina.

Do all patterns include full size pattern pieces?

No, all patterns do not have full size pattern pieces. Full size pattern pieces are defined as pattern pieces that you use to cut your fabric OR pieces (1/2 size or 1/4 size) that are placed on the fold of the fabric or on doubled over material and cut. If a pattern has full size pieces for the body of the bag but only measurements (i.e. 18" x 6") for the handle, we consider that also as full size pattern pieces. Patterns WITH full size pattern pieces will have the symbol '*' immediately following the title of the pattern. Most patterns that are symmetrical in shape (rectangular, square, etc.) will have measurements only.

Most independent pattern designers do not include full size pattern  pieces with their patterns.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. We also accept PayPal, and payment by personal check (USA only) or money order, in US dollars drawn on a US bank.

Do you have a printed catalog available?

We do not offer a printed catalog. We add new patterns and update PursePatterns.com frequently.

Do you have a store that I can visit?

No. PursePatterns.com is online only at this time.

When can I expect to receive my order?

We usually ship the next business day after your order is placed, excluding holidays and occaasional market events. For delivery in the USA, First Class Mail typically takes between 2 - 5 business days, but occasionally the delivery is delayed for 2 - 3 weeks, for unknown reasons. We use address checker software to verify the address, and to provide the 9 digit zip code and a bar code on the label; this allows for the mail to be properly directed and efficiently delivered as quickly as possible. Tracking information is not available for First Class Mail. Domestic Priority Mail is delivered within 2 - 3 business days, and delivery confirmation is provided. Please be aware that the USPS does not always scan products at the point of entry,and many times there will be no tracking information available until after delivery (hence the name of this service is 'Delivery Confirmation'). There is no delivery confirmation available for international shipments via USPS First Class Mail International. Priority Mail International does provide tracking. According to the USPS, delivery for First Class Mail International "varies." International customers have provided feedback indicating delivery within 1 - 2 weeks for most deliveries, but some international customers report delays of several (6 - 8) weeks. Priority Mail International delivery is stated at 6 to 10 business days.

All international shipments are subject to customs inspection and assessment of duties, taxes, and fees in accordance with your country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the item sent is dutiable and if the value of the item is above the threshold set by your country's laws.

It is important to understand that, if duties and taxes are assessed on an item, they are collected from the recipient. Shipping and handling is charged to cover the cost of delivery only, and does not include charges assessed by customs in the destination country. USPS form 2976 will be filled out and attached to the outside of the package identifying the contents, cost, and country of origin, per customs regulations.
