The Marlo Bloom Handbag by Heather Bailey is a reversible purse with instructions included for a decorative pin on the front. The built in handle has hidden magnets and the finished size is 17"W x 11"H.

Materials Needed: Suitable fabrics include quilting weight cotton or light weight decorator fabric.

REVERSIBLE BAG:
1/2 yard main fabric
1/3 yard lining fabric for the reverse side of the bag
1/3 yard interfacing (sew in fleece interfacing, muslin, or light weight canvas) 44-45" wide
1/4 yard extra heavy weight interfacing (such as Peltex or Timtex) - double sided preferred but not necessary, 18" or bigger in width
3 yards fusible web, 3/8" wide or fabric glue (only needed if extra heavy weight interfacing is non-fusible)
Seam sealant like Fray Check
2 super heavy duty craft magnets, 1/2" to 3/4" wide (super strong, thin metal ones)
FLOWER PIN:
1/8 yard for outer petals
1/8 yard fabric for inner petals
1 large button, 1 1/4" wide or larger
2" x 4" felt scrap for flower back
2" x 2" felt scrap for flower center (optional)
