The Ruffled Revival Bag pattern by Dian Stanley (Indygo Junction) has fun and feminine ruffles on the front that uses 2 1/2" coordinating fabric strips such as Bali Pops or Jelly Rolls. There is a large pocket on the back and a zippered divider pocket inside and you can use either purchased handles or make your own. Finished size is 11" H x 13" W, excluding handles.
Materials Needed:
- 1 yd of 44" wide main fabric
- 1/2 yd of 44" wide lining fabric
- 1/2 yd of 44" wide contrasting fabric
- Ten coordinating 2 1/2" W x 44" long fabric strips, Bali Pops or Jelly Rolls
- 1 yd of 15" wide one-sided fusible Stitch 'N Shape or Pellon extra firm interfacing
- 1 yd of light-weight cotton batting
- One magnetic snap closure
- One 14" long zipper for interior pocket divider
- One zipper pull or piece of ribbon
- Wax free tracing paper
- One pair of 25" long pre-made handles with rings
- OR
- Four 1 5/8" diameter plastic rings for optional fabric handle
- OPTIONAL: Hook and loop tape
