The Bali Briefcase comes with instructions to make a briefcase from fabric covered clothes line or regular fabric re-enforced with Timtex. Finished size 13" H x 15" W x 4" D. Bali Pops work perfectly for this pattern!
Materials:
- Fabric covered clothes line version: Forty fabric strips 2 1/2" x 42" (approximately 3 yds) or 1 package of Bali Pops
- Fabric for binding, handles, and pockets - 1 1/4 yd
- Fusible interfacing - 1/4 yd
- Clothes line - 150 feet that is 6/32" to 7/32" in diameter. Do not use poly clothes line
- Quilted Cotton Version:
- Fabric 2 1/2 yds OR 1 yd for front and back and 1 1/2 yd for binding, handles, and pockets
- Timtex (22" wide) - 1 1/4 yd
- Fusible interfacing - 1 yd
- For BOTH versions:
- 1/2" cotton upholstery piping - 2 yds
- Rotary cutter, mat, protractor
