Ali Bag Pattern

The Ali Bag Pattern designed by Karen Bennett for Nellie's Needle Quilt Patterns is a purse with lots of ruffles!  Instructions are given for a bag with one color ruffles or multiple colors and there is also a ruffled flower design.   Finished size is 14" wide x 14" high (across the bottom is 21").

Materials Needed:

• ALL ONE COLOR:  Total yardage - 3 1/4 yards
• Bag Body & Lining - 1 and 2/3 yards
• Ruffles - (7) 5" x wof strips
• Pockets, Strap Loops, & Straps -
• Pockets - (2) 7" x 6" and (2) 14 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Loops - 5" x 18"
• Straps (2) 5" x 26"
• Binding - (1) 2 1/4" x WOF (width of fabric) strip
• "Bling" - (4) 1 1/2" x wof strips
• MULTIPLE COLORS:
• Bag Body & Lining - (2) 30" pieces of fabric (can be 2 different colors)
• Pockets, Strap Loops, and Straps - Use scraps from ruffles, bag body, and lining
• Ruffles - (2) 5" x wof strips per color
• Binding - (1) 2 1/4" x wof strip
• "Bling" - (1) 1 1/2" x wof strip per color
