Black Magic Bag Pattern

The Black Magic Bag pattern by Leesa Chandler is an evening bag pattern with is quick to make and perfect for beginners.  Pattern pieces are included for the bag base and flap and the finished size is 10" x 7 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• Bag fabric for outer panels, handles, and base - 35cm/14" for non-directional prints (45cm/18" for directional prints)
• If you wish to use two different fabrics, one for each side of the bag, you will need a fat eighth of each and 4"/10cm for the strap.
• Lining - 25cm/10" off the bolt
• 2 magnetic snaps
• 10" square of template plastic or cardboard for inner base
• Medium adhesive vilene (interfacing) or bag stiffener - 10cm/4"
• Battin or Pellon - 25cm/10" x 90cm/1 yard
