Sara Jane's Purse pattern makes a big, comfortable purse that holds everything and is easy to sew. Finished size is 13 1/2" H x 15" W x 8" sides.
Materials Needed:
- Fabric for bag, pockets, gussets, lining and handle: Either use 1/2 yard of 4 coordinating fabrics for a scrappy look OR 1/4 yard each of 3 coordinating fabric OR 1 1/2 yard each of 2 fabrics
- Fusible Fleece (Pellon 987F) - 2 yards (Body of purse)
- Pellon 71F - 7 1/2" x 14 1/2" for bottom of purse
- Elastic - 16" of 1 1/2" wide heavy elastic
- Magnetic snap - 3/4" magnetic snap
- Embellishment - optional
