Hexie Hipster Bag Pattern *

The Hexie Hipster Bag Pattern by Betz White is a quilted handbag pattern which is made by stitching seven hexagons together.  This is a great bag pattern for using up those scraps of fabric!  The Hexie Hipster is a cross body bag that includes 2 sizes and has instructions for an interior pocket and a magnetic snap  closure.  Finished size of the large is 12"W x 14"H x 2"D and for the small the finished measurements are 10"W x 11"H x 1 1/2"D.  The skill level is for the Confident Beginner to Intermediate.

Materials Needed:

• 6 to 7 different 1/4 yard pieces of 45" wide fabric in coordinating prints/colors
• 1/4 yard of 45" wide fabric for strap and  flap
• 1/2 yard of 45" wide fabric for lining
• 1 yard of 20" wide woven cotton fusible interfacing
• 1 yard of 18" wide cotton batting
• Magnetic Snap closure, 1/2" in diameter
• Decorative button (optional)
