Lucy's Lunch Bunch Pattern *

Lucy’s Lunch Bunch Pattern by Susan Rooney Patterns has instructions for a lunch bag, napkin, utensil wrap, and a snack sack! The lunch bag is insulated with an inside pocket for an ice pack and an adjustable strap. The napkin is reversible and the utensil wrap rolls up silverware with protection for a sharp knife. The snack sack has a food-safe lining for your snacks or veggies. Pattern templates are included for the lunch bag, napkin, and snack sack. Sizes are as follows:

Lunch Bag - 10 1/2” x 10 1/2”

Napkin - 13” x 13 1/2”

Utensil Wrap - 9 1/2” x 11”

Snack Sack - 6” x 7”

Materials Needed: Fabric amounts are given for the lunch bag and the 3 accessories

• Fabric A - 1 yard (3/4 yard just for the lunch bag)
• Fabric B - 3/4 yard
• Scrap of fabric for lettering
• Ripstop Nylon - 1/2 yard (Ripstop nylon is the only food-safe fabric)
• Insul-Bright - 1/2 yard (used with Warm & Natural to absorb condensation)
• Comparable materials may be used for batting, interfacing & fusible web:
• Batting - Warm & Natural: 3/4 yard
• Fusible Interfacing - 1/4 yard (light to medium weight)
• Heat & Bond Ultra - 4” x 6” scrap for appliqué
• Notions:
• 3/4” Plastic side-release buckles: Two 1/2” sew-on matching Velcro: 5”
• 1/2” - 5/8” ribbon: 1 and 1/4 yards (ties for utensil wrap)
