Sun & Surf Tote Pattern

The Surf & Turf Tote Pattern by Patty Young of ModKid is a 'lite pattern' for a tote bag that is perfect for the beach or a day in the park.  There is room for towels and instructions for both inside and outside pockets.  Finished size is 14" W x 12" H x 6" D.  The snap on grommets used for this pattern are now available from us!

Materials Needed:  Recommended fabric width is 44"

• Main Fabric #1 ( front and back of tote) - 1/2 yard
• Coordinating Fabric #2 (pockets) - 1/2 yard
• Coordinating Fabric #3 (lining, button loop, and strap) - 2/3 yards
• Heavy weight fusible stabilizer - 1/2 yard at 44" wide
• Light weight fusible interfacing - 1 yard
• Fleece - 1/6 yard (or a small scrap 8" W x 6" H)
• Plastic canvas - 14" x 6" piece
• 1 large (1 1/2" to 2") round decorative button
• 2 large (1 9/16") or 40 mm) snap-on grommets
