The Short & Sweet purse-o-nality purse pattern has instructions for easy construction and is in a very compact style with organizer pockets both inside and out. Finished size is 8 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 2 1/2". Some pattern pieces are included.
Materials Needed:
- 1/3 yd fashion fabric for exterior purse front, closure flap A, Back patch pocket B, and interior lining pockets
- 1/2 yd second fabric for exterior purse back, purse handle, and handle tabs
- 1/2 yd lining fabric for purse lining, exterior pocket linings, and underside of closure flap
- 1/3 yd cotton batting or polyester fleece for purse body, exterior patch pocket, closure flap, and purse handle
- 1/4 yd fabric E for large front pocket and back pocket
- Remnant for bias trim for closure flap A or B
- Heavyweight interfacing for exterior purse body and closure flap
- 6" strip of 3/4" wide Velcro
- 2 1/4" x 5" rigid bottom insert (acrylic, plastic needle point canvas, cardboard, etc.
- Optional - 1 decorative button for closure flap
- Optional various trims, tassels, and embellishments
