City Zipper Bag Pattern

The City Zipper Bag Pattern by Penny Sturges is made from fabric scraps (2 1/2" strips) and there are double handles and pockets all the way around the interior.  A top zipper closure is optional.  Finished size is 22" W x 11" H x 6" D.  The flower on the bag on the front cover is from the Pleated Posey Pattern.

Materials Needed:

• Fabric #1 - 1 yard for lining and three 2 1/2" strips
• Fabric #2 - 3/4 yard for inner pockets and three 2 1/2" strips
• Fabric #3 - 3/4 yard for zipper flaps, handle, and three 2 1/2" strips
• Fabric #4 - 1/3 yard for three 2 1/2" strips
• Fabric #5 - 1/3 yard for three 2 1/2" strips
• 1 3/4 yards Pellon Fusible Fleece 987F
• 22" or 24" zipper in coordinating color (optional)
• Four 1" rectangular rings for handle
