Suerene's Bag Pattern (Cross Town Carry) is a great pattern to use up those scraps of fabric! Two sizes are included - the handbag (9" H x 11" W x 3" D) and the shoulder bag (12 1/2" H x 13" W x 4" D).
Materials Needed:
- HANDBAG: 4 - 2 1/2" x 44" strips of fabric
- 1/4 yd - front pocket and closure flap
- 1/4 yd - pocket accent strip and handles
- 1/2 yd fusible interfacing - heavy weight
- 3/8 yd - lining and inside pockets
- 1 - 14" x 26" rectangle batting
- SHOULDER BAG: 8 - 2 1/2" x 44" strips
- 1/4 yd - front pocket and closure flap
- 1/3 yd - pocket accent strip and handles
- 1 yd fusible interfacing - heavy weight
- 7/8 yd - lining and inside pockets
- 1 - 17" x 36" rectangle batting
- FOR BOTH: 1 decorative button
- OPTION: May used purchased handles if you wish
