Ruby's Switcheroo Bag Pattern

The Ruby's Switcheroo Bag pattern is a backpack that easily converts to a shoulder bag.  This is a great travel bag with a security pocket on the back, a front slip pocket and a zipper pocket.  The main compartment fastens with a secure zipper and inside there are additional optional pockets.  Finished size is 11" x 11 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• One Fabric  - 1 yd
• AS SHOWN - Main fabric - 3/8 yd
• Straps - 1/4 yd (not a fat quarter)
• Contrasting sections - 2 to 3 fabrics, total of 5/8 yd but 3 fat quarters will work also
• Lining and 2 interior pockets - 5/8 yd
• Fusible fleece or batting - 1/2 yd
• 2 - 9" zippers
• 1 - 7" zipper
• 4 buttons
• Optional - 8" regular seam binding
