Dory's Raggy Bargello Purse Pattern

Dory's Raggy Bargello purse pattern (Crafts by Dory) has the bargello design at the bottom which allows it to be shown on either side.  Recommended for intermediate to advanced sewers.

Materials Needed:

1/3 yd of 7 different fabrics (homespun, flannel, denim or a type of fabric that ravels). DO NOT use fat quarters.  If your strips are 44 inches long or more there will be less waste.

• 1/2 yd for purse lining
• 1/3 yd for the pockets
• 1/4 yd for the handles
• 1/2 yd fusible fleece
• 3/4 inches magnetic snap
• Washable marker
• 1 5/8 yd of cotton belt for handles
• Lightweight plastic (a butter lid will work)
• Rotary cutter and mat
• 6 inches x 24 inches ruler
• Matching thread
• Pins and scissors
