Quilter's Briefcase Pattern

 The Quilter's Briefcase by Hedgehog Qilts can keep all your files and business needs handy! There are lots of organizational pockets and the inside is removeable as one unit so you can change the outer shell.  There is also a pattern included for a padded personal computer case to match.  The 2 sizes are: STANDARD - 13 1/2" x 17 1/2" x 3 1/2"  ROOMY - 13 1/2" x 17 1/2" x 5 1/2"

CASE FOR Computer - 15" x 12" x 2"   This pattern can also be used for Charm Squares or Fat Quarters!

Materials Needed:

• Fabric requirements:
• OUTSIDE SHELL - 1 1/2 yd main fabric
• 1 1/4 yd muslin and batting
• 4 3/4 yds 1 1/4" cotton belting
• 1 - 22" to 24" zipper
• 2 - D rings
• 2 - Purse type swivel hooks
• 6" x 8" piece of thin leather for trim
• INSIDE SHELL:
• 2 3/4 yd main shell lining fabric
• 1/2 yd muslin and batting
• 3 yd buckram
• 1 1/4 yd 3/4" wide hook & loop tape (not self stick)
• 2 - 9" x 15" pieces of heavy template plastic
• 3 magnetic french snaps
• 1 package of "Misty Fuse" fusible web
• Padded Sleeve for notebook PC (fits in roomy case):
• 3/4 yd main fabric
• 3/4 yd muslin and batting
• 1/2 yd of thick pre-quilted fabric for lining
• 6" - 3/4" wide hook & loop tape (not self stick)
