Bare Necessities Bag Pattern

The Bare Necessities Bag pattern by Perkins Dry Goods is a basic little pattern (5 1/2" x 4 1/2") that is very easy to make and is also very quick - great for those last minute gifts for friends and family!  There are instructions included for a cross body bag that measures 8" x 8" x 1 1/2" when completed and a larger bag that is 9" x 9" x 3" and this pattern is Fat Quarter Friendly.

Materials Needed:

• LARGE:
• Main fabric - 2 Fat Quarters
• Accent - 1 Fat Quarter
• Lining - 1 Fat Quarter
• Fusible interfacing - 1 yard
• Batting - 14" x 22"
• Button for closure - 1 1/4" in diameter
• SMALL:
• Main fabric - 2 Fat Quarters
• Accent - 1 Fat Quarter
• Lining - 1 Fat Quarter
• Fusible interfacing - 3/4 yard
• Batting - 12" x 20"
• Button for closure - 1" in diameter
