Saddle Bag Pattern

The Saddle Bag pattern by Liberty Star is a small pattern (4" x 5 1/2") with instructions to make a handbag with double straps and a short front flap.  Finished size is 14" x 16" and this pattern is designed by Renee Plains.

Materials Needed:

• BLUE STRIPE BAG:
• 1/2 yard blue stripe - outer bag
• 1/2 yard blue print - lining
• 1/2 yard blue print - straps and binding
• 1 yard heavy weight interfacing
• RED WINDOWPANE CHECK BAG:
• 1/2 yard red windowpane check - outer bag
• 1/2 yard tan print - lining
• 1/2 yard tan print - straps and binding
• 1 yard heavy weight interfacing
