The Cube Purse Pattern

The Cube Purse Pattern by Jen Eskridge is from a series of recycled uniform patterns but can also be made with Layer Cakes.  The recommended skill level is intermediate sewer.

Materials Needed: (based on 42" wide fabric)

• UNIFORM BAG PATTERN:
• 1 uniform shirt
• 2/3 yd Fabric A
• 2/3 yd Fabric B
• OR
• 1 Layer Cake instead of A & B (40 squares measuring 10" each will make 2 bags)
• 1 crib size batting, 1/8" thick
• 52" nylon webbing 1 1/4" wide
• FABRIC BAG:
• 1 1/4 yd fabric A
• 2/3 yd Fabric B
• OR
• 1 Layer Cake instead of A & B (40 squares measuring 10" each with make 2 bags)
• 1 crib size batting, 1/8" thick
• Magnetic clasp
• 9" zipper, plastic non-separating
• Rotary cutting mat
• Quilter's Rotary cutting ruler
• Rotary cutter blade tool
