The Minneapolis Tote pattern by Dawn Stewart has complete instructions and diagrams to make a practical tote bag with lots of pockets both inside and out. Finished size is 14" x 14 1/2" tall and the skill level is intermediate.
Materials Needed:
- 1/8 yd light tan for stars on pockets
- 1/8 yd ligth green for stars on pockets
- 3/4 yd small black print for stars on pockets and pocket linings
- 1/4 yd tan for pockets
- 1 yd red for pockets and tote bag lining
- 5/8 yd focus print for body of tote bag and handles
- 1/3 yd black print for bottom of tote bag
- 1 yd fusible fleece or thin batting
- 1" reproduction button 12" zipper
