Pleated Purse - Rotary Cut Border Bag Pattern

 The Pleated Purse Rotary Cut Border Bag pattern is made with pre-quilted double sided fabric.  This bag pattern has 2 sizes of handbags and instructions are given to make the bigger bag with shoulder straps or handbag straps - the smaller bag can used purchased handles.  Finished size is 10"W x 10 1/2"H x 5"D for the bigger bag and 10"W x 8 1/2"H x 4"D for the smaller bag.

Materials Needed:

• Fabric - 2/3 yard double faced quilted fabric
• 1/2 yard of border print fabric
• 2" hook and loop tape OR magnetic snap
• 1 package of Timtex or 1/4 yard heavy weight interfacing
• Smaller bag: purchased handles (bell shaped - see photo)
• Optional - 5" x 10" piece of plastic canvas for bottom stiffener
