The Tree Top Tote Bag Pattern by The Janelle Wind Collection is a small tote bag with a top bag band and a decorative tree. There is a long across the body shoulder strap, a loop and button fastener, an outer pocket, and a ruffle decoration. Finished size is approximately 8 1/2" x 2" (21.5cm x 30.5cm), not including the handle.
Materials Needed:
- One fat 16th fabric for bag band
- 30cm (12") fabric for main bag and inside pocket
- 30cm (12") fabric for frill, button loop, handle, and contrast band on outside pocket
- 25cm (10") fabric for outside pocket and lining
- 35cm (14") lightweight iron on interfacing
- 30cm (12") iron on Pellon
- One 1" to 1 1/4" (25mm to 30mm) self cover button OR any button choice
- One 12cm x 15cm (5" x 6") piece of brown felt for brooch
- One 9cm (3 1/2") square of green felt for brooch
- DMC embroidery threads - 611, 602, and 721
