The Carpet Bag Pattern *

 The Carpet Bag Pattern is a unique and roomy tote that comes in 2 sizes - SMALL is 8" x 8 1/2" x 8" and the LARGE is 9 1/2" x 11" x 9".  There are options for exterior pockets and the strap repositions to make a back pack.

Materials Needed:

• Small Bag- Body and Straps- 5/8 yard
• Lining- 2/3 yard
• Contrast Cover Panel- 1/4 yard or
• Cover Panel and Outside Pockets- 1/2 yard
• Large Bag- Body and Straps- 3/4 yard
• Lining- 3/4 yard
• Contrast Cover Panel- 1/3 yard or
• Cover Panel and Outside Pockets- 5/8 yard
• Interfacing- 1/4 yard
• Notions: 2 magnetic Snaps, 7" zipper, Thread, Optional- 4 D-rings or Purse Handle Hooks
• Backpack: 2 D-rings or Purse Handle Hooks, 2 or 4 Swivel Clips
