Roomy and totally cute tote bag pattern with 4 outside wall pockets and 2 roofed tower side pockets. This tote bag is big enough for a binder or some books, water bottle, umbrella, etc. or as a diaper bag. Finished size is 13" x 14" and some pattern pieces are included.
Materials Needed:
- SUPPLIES: Basic sewing supplies, rotary cutter and mat, fusible web or acid free glue stick or spray adhesive
- Embroidery thread
- 9" of 3/4" wide Hook & Loop take
- OPTIONAL: Tear-away or wash-away stabilizer ofr machine embroidery, semi-transparent heart resistant pressing sheet, computer printed family photos on fabric for windows
- FABRICS: Castle wall fabric - 2 1/8 yd (1 2/3 yd if using another fabric for the architectural trim)
- Lining - 1 2/3 yd
- Architectural details - 3/8 yd if not using the reverse side of the castle wall fabric
- Tower roofs - 10" x 16" piece
- Windows & Doors - Small pieces white, yellow, wood print, stained glass look, etc.
- Batting - 2 yds x 40" Warm Company Insul-Bright
- Interfacing - 2 yd x 20" Pellon Peltex 70 (for shape)
