The Zippy Strippy by Atkinson Designs is an easy to make bag with a top zipper and lots of trim options! This is a great project to use up left over scraps of fabric and the finished size is 7 1/2" W x 4" H x 2 1/2" D for the SMALL, 9 1/2" W x 5 1/2" H x 4" D for the MEDIUM, and 11 1/2" W x 6" H x 4" D for the LARGE.
Materials Needed:
- FABRIC: 1 Fat Eighth for the SMALL, 2 Fat Eighths for the MEDIUM, and 4 Fat Eighths or (4) 2 1/2" x 21" strips for the LARGE
- Contrast Fabric: 1 Fat Quarter for the SMALL, 1 Fat Quarter for the MEDIUM, and 3/8 yd for the LARGE
- Fusible Fleece: 1/4 yd for the SMALL, 1/3 yd for the MEDIUM, 1/3 yd for the LARGE
- Optional Trims:
- SMALL: 5/8 yd rick-rack, or 10 small buttons, or 1 large button
- MEDIUM: 3/4 yd rick-rack or 12-14 small buttons, or 1 large button
- LARGE: 3/4 yd rick-rack, or 14-16 small buttons, or 1 large button
