Three Basic Bags Pattern

Three Basic Bags patterns are easy to make bags that can use coated fabrics, quilting cottons, and home decor material.  Instructions are included for a lunch bag, a shoulder bag, a market tote, an E-Reader Cover pattern, and a cell phone pocket.

Materials Needed:

• LUNCH BAG (12" x 7" x 5")
• Heavy coated fabric (double the amount of fabric if using lightweight coated fabric or quilting cottons)
• Bag and tab - 3/8 yard
• Photo pocket - 4 1/2" square of heavy clear plastic
• SHOULDER BAG (13" x 11" x 5")
• Bag - 3/8 yards
• Strap - 1/4 yard
• MARKET TOTE (11" x 13" x 6")
• Bg - 1/2 yard
• Strap, tab and embellishment - 1/8 yard
• E-READER COVER - 1/4 yard
• CELL PHONE POCKET - 8" square
• Snap-i Curtain Grommets - 1- 1/2", 4 or 8
• Hook & Loop Tape - 1" x 1" per bag
• Additional fabric needed if directional print
• Batting for E-Reader Cover or Un-coated bags (Directions in pattern)
• Buttons or other embellishments (optional)
