Caddy Pad Pattern

The Caddy Pad pattern by Sisters' Common Thread is a unique tote pattern that is made to carry an iron and comes with instructions to make an ironing pad!  This  pattern comes with heat resistant fabric and there is a heat resistant lining for your iron - perfect for taking everything you need to your sewing class!  Finished size is 5 1/2"W x 7"H x 11 3/4" when folded and 19"W x 25"length when open.

Materials Needed:

• 21" x 28" Main fabric (preshrunk) for caddy body - MF
• AND
• (2) 4" x 14" pieces for the handle
• 21" x 28" Heat resistant ironing board fabric (included with this pattern) - HR
• 21" x 28" (2)layers of Insul-Bright®
• OR
• (2) layers of cotton batting pieces (preshrunk)
• OR
• 1 layer of Warm Tator®
• (2) 1" or larger pretty buttons
• 9" of 1/4" wide elastic
• 1/4 yard of fabric to make about 90" of binding (Usually cut 2 1/4" to 2 1/2")
