Scrappy Bag Pattern

The Scrappy Bag Pattern by Virginia Robertson Designs is an easy to make tote style bag that can be made of fat quarters or scraps (2 1/2" strips) and has instructions for quilt-as-you-go!  There are double handles and a button and loop closure.

Materials Needed: At least 5 1/4 yard cuts or use coordinated fat quarters.  Also, another option is 2 1/2" strips of fabric.

• Lining - 1/2 yard
• Handle - 1/8 yard or a fat quarter
• Base fabric - 1/2 yard muslin
• 18" x 30" and a 1" x 44" strip of cotton and iron on batting
• Template plastic
• Optional buttons and felt for the front
