Creative Crossbody Bag Pattern *

The Creative Crossbody Bag Pattern is a Jennifer Ethier Design by Indygo Junction that has instructions for 3 different versions.  You can choose a bag with a gusset or without.  You can also made this bag with recycled materials and there is a secure zippered top and an outside pocket.  Finished size is 11"W x 12"H (excluding strap).  If you add the gusset, 2" in depth is added to the bag.

Materials Needed:

• Bias Bond Version without Gusset:
• Fabric A - 1/2 yard of 54" fabric for front lining, back, back lining, pocket & Straps (3/4 yard if 45" wide)
• Fabric B - 3/8 yard of 45" or 54" wie fabric for left front
• Fabric C - 3/8 yard of 45" or 54" for right front
• Fabric D - 1/2 yard of 45" or 54" fabric for bias bag and strap raw edge binding
• Version with Gusset:
• Fabric A - 1/2 yard of 54" fabric for right front, back, back lining, stran and gusset (5/8 yard if 45" wide)
• Fabric B - 3/8 yard of 45" or 54" fabric for left front
• Fabric C - 4" x 6" piece for outside front pocket
• Fabric D - 3/8 yard of 45" or 54" fabric for front lining
• Eight coordination pieces of cotton or denim EACH 6" x 8" for front appliques
• Recycled Version with Gusset:
• One pair of men's "loose fitting" size 36 waist or larger jeans
• One to three men's size large long sleeve woven cotton shirt (plaids or stripes work best)
• For all views:
• 9" metal jean zipper or trouser zipper
