Girlfriends Bag Pattern

The Girlfriends Bag by Among Brenda’s Quilts is fun to make with special features including a roomy inside pocket that is divided and the ability to have your new bag snapped open or closed! There are double handles and a decorative small front flap closure that can be dressed up with a unique button. Finished size is 12in W x 9-1/2in H x 6in D with the sides snapped and 18in W x 9-1/2in H x 6in D with sides un-snapped.

Materials Needed: 42" fabric, preferably lightweight canvas or quilters cotton

• Color A - Outer Bag, 7/8 yard (.7m)
• Color B - Straps, Tab Closure, Lining - 1 yard (.9m)
• Color C - Binding - 1/2 yard (.4m)
• Foam Stabilizer, Bosal In-R-Form  Sew-in - 18" x 58"
• Clear Vinyl - gauge - 1/8 yard
• Double sided Fusible Web - 4" x 9"
• One 2" accent button
• Three 3/4" (18mm) magnetic snaps
