Jody's Bag Pattern

Jody’s Bag Pattern by Sewphisti-Cat Designs is an easy to make bag with convenient features such as a large front pocket under the closure flap, lots of pockets inside, a secure back zippered pocket, and an adjustable shoulder or cross body strap. Finished size is 8”H x 10”W x 2 1/2”D and a template is provided for the front decorative flap.

You will need:

• 3/4 yd. Main Fabric (Ext. pocket panel and interior pockets)
• 5/8 yd. Coordinating Fabric (Ext. body and lining)
• 3/8 yd. Trim Fabric (Handle, D-ring tabs, and bias trim)
• 1/3 yd. Fleece Alternative (In-R-Form, Soft & Stable, etc.)
• OR
• 1/3 yd. each fleece/batting and mid-weight interfacing
• 1/4 yd. Mid-weight interfacing (Closure flap)
• 1/3 yd. Fusible Fleece (Pocket panel, D-ring tabs, and handle)
• 1/8 yd. Peltex or Timtex (Bottom insert)
• 1 - 9" zipper
• 1 - 1"slider
• 1 - 3/4" magnetic snap
• 2 - 1" D-Rings
• Optional: Decorative Button
