Gisela's Bag Pattern

Gisela’s Bag Pattern has instructions for an easy to install top zipper closure. There are lots of pockets, including slip pockets as well as a patch pocket. A unique decorative front pocket has a zipper and the handle is adjustable to either cross body or shoulder length. Finished size is 10 1/2”W x 10 1/2”H x 2”D. Materials List:

• 2/3 yard - Exterior/lining fabric (exterior body and interior lining)
• 3/4 yard - Exterior pocket panel fabric (exterior front/back pockets, interior pocket, handle, and handle tabs)
• 1/4 yard - Front zipper pocket fabric
• 1/3 yard Fleece alternative (In-R-Form, Inn Control, or Soft & Stable)
• OR
• 1/3 yard fleece/batting and 1/3 yard mid-weight interfacing
• 3/8 yard - Fusible fleece (exterior pocket panel, front zipper pocket, handle, and tabs)
• 1/8 yard - Ultra-heavyweight interfacing (Peltex, Timtex. etc.)
• (1) 7” (or 9”) zipper (front zipper pocket)
• (1) 14” (or 18”) zipper (top closure)
• (2) 3/4” D-Rings
• (1) 3/4” slider
