The Big Bag Pattern

The Big Bag Pattern by Izzy Rogers is a large tote bag that can hold everything! There are extra features to this bag, including a vertical zipper in the back for your cell phone, and a secure zippered pocket on the inside of the flap. This tote is easy to make with clear instructions and there are two types of closures available for the flap, including a turn-lock or a magnetic snap - you choose! This bag pattern is recommended for the confident beginner and the finished size is 16"H x 14"W x 5"D. A template is included for the flap.

• Fabric A - Main Upper, Flap - 1/2 yard
• Fabric B - Main Lower, Straps - 2/3 yard
• Fabric C - Lining, Pockets - 1 yard
• STABILIZERS:
• Soft and Stable - 1/2 yard
• Decor-bond (Pellon 809) - 1/2 yard
• 1 side fusible Peltex (Pellon 71F) - 1/4 yard
• NOTIONS:
• 1" Webbing - 2 yards
• Zipper - 12" or longer - 2
• HARDWARE:
• Magnetic Snap (Only for closure A) - 1
