String Around The Collar Purse Pattern

The String Around the Collar purse pattern is small purse that allows hands free shopping.  There are instructions for lots of pockets, credit card holders, a change purse,  a pen holder, and a checkbook holder.  Finished size (closed) is 4 1/2" x 7 1/2".  Skill level is intermediate to advanced.

Materials Needed: (Based on 42" wide fabric)

• 1/2 yd Main print (Outer shell)
• 7/8 yd Liner print (Inside and strap)
• 3/8 yd Batting
• 3/8 yd Heavyweight Pellon (21" wide)
• 1/4 yd Velcro - 3/4" wide
