Patches and Pockets Bag Pattern

The Patches and Pockets Bag pattern uses fat quarters and has a shoulder strap, side pockets, and a front pocket.  Finished size is approximately 12" square.

Materials Needed:

• FLORAL BAG:Fat quarter floral fabric
• 5 1/2" x 13" tan print
• 11" x 7 1/2" plaid
• Fat quarter window pane check
• Fat quarter small floral
• Eleven buttons and 1 1/2 yd 5/8" cotton filler cord
• 1/2 yd lining fabric and 12" of 1/2" elastic
• 1 yd craft weight interfacing
• PIECED BAG: 16 light 3 3/4" squares
• 16 dark 3 3/4" squares
• 1/2 yd total for pockets, sides, straps
• Three buttons and 1/2 yd 5/8" cotton filler cord
• 1/2 yd lining fabric and 12" of 1/2" elastic
• 1 yd craft weight interfacing
