Georgia May Bag Pattern *

The Georgia May bag pattern by Monica Poole is a shoulder bag with an extra long strap which enables you to wear it across your body for hands free comfort.  This pattern is made in a similar fashion to a tiered gypsy skirt with an easy process and this pattern includes two bag sizes: small (15" x 18") and large (17" x 20").

Materials Needed:

• SMALL BAG - Top panel - 1/4 yd
• 2nd panel - 1/4 yd
• 3rd panel - 1/4 yd
• Bottom panel - 1/4 yd
• Strap - 1/4 yd
• Lining - 3/4 yd
• Medium weight iron on Pellon - 1 yd
• 1" wide elastic - 3/4 yd
• 1/4" elastic - 1 3/4 yd
• 1- 1/4" gold rings
• 1/2" magnetic snap
• 6" zipper for internal pocket
• LARGE BAG - Top panel - 1/4 yd
• 2nd panel - 1/4 yd
• 3rd panel - 1/4 yd
• Bottom panel - 1/4 yd
• Strap - 1/4 yd
• Lining - 1 yd
• Medium weight iron on Pellon - 1 yd
• 1" wide elastic - 3/4 yd
• 1/4" elastic - 1 3/4 yd
