Day Tote And Cargo Tote Pattern *

The Day Tote and Cargo Tote by Favorite Thins is an easy bag pattern that makes 2 different size bags but has one set of instructions. There is a larger cargo tote and a smaller day tote but both have lots of room with either short or long shoulder handles.

Finished size:

DAY TOTE - 8 inches H x 12 inches W x 5 inches D

CARGO TOTE - 11 inches H x 18 inches W x 6 inches D.

Materials Needed:

• DAY TOTE - 2/3 yd fabric (bag)
• 1/4 yd fabric (handles and ends)
• 1/2 yd lining
• 1/2 yd interlining (cotton or polyester fleece)
• 1 1/2 yd 1/4 inch cord
• 14 inch separating zipper
• 2 - 1 inch wide Velcro
• 2 - 3/4 inch buttons (for bag with long ends)
• CARGO TOTE - 1 1/8 yd fabric (bag & large pocket)
• 1/4 yd fabric (handles & ends)
• 1/2 yd lining
• 1/2 yd interlining
• 1 1/2 yd 1/4 inch cord
• 20 inch separating zipper
• 2 - 3/4 inch buttons
• 2 - 1 inch wide Velcro
• 2 - 3/4 inch buttons (for bag with long ends)
