Elle Purse Pattern *

The Elle Purse Pattern by Monica Poole comes in 3 sizes with simple styling and can easily be embellished for your own look!  Sizes are: SMALL BAG - 7" x 11" MEDIUM BAG - 9" x 12 1/2" and LARGE BAG - 12 1/2" x 20".

Materials Needed:

• SMALL BAG: Main fabric - 55cm
• Lining - 55cm
• Shapewell - 55cm
• 12mm (1/2" magnetic clips - 3
• Braid or ric-rac - 1.2m for small handles or 1.7m for long handles
• 8mm wide Rigiline - 1.2m for small handles or 1.7 for long handles
• 40mm wire edge ribbon - 50cm for optional frill
• 7" circle of clear Perspex (plastic) for bag base
• MEDIUM BAG: Main fabric - 70cm
• Lining - 65cm
• 12mm magnetic clips - 3
• Braid or ric-rac - 1.2m for small handles or 1.7 for long handles
• 8mm wide Rigiline - 1.2m for small handles or 1.7 for long handles
• 8" circle of clear Perspex for bag base
• LARGE BAG: Main fabric - 1.1m
• Lining - 90cm
• Shapewell - 90cm
• 12mm magnetic clips - 4
• Braid or ric-rac - 2.3m
• 8mm wide Rigiline - 60cm
• 10" circle of clear Perspex for bag base
