The Flora Bag Pattern

The Flora Bag Pattern by Blue Moon River is an easy to make scrappy tote or purse mostly made with fat eighths. A Bag-E-Bottom C gives the bottom of this bag stability!  Finished size is 12 inches W x 16 inches H x 3 1/4 inches D.

Materials Needed:

• Log Cabin Blocks - 10 fat eighths OR scraps totalling 1 1/4 yd
• Horizontal strips - 3 fat eighths OR scraps totalling 3/8 yd
• Vertical strips - 3 fat eighths OR scraps totalling 3/8 yd
• Flap - scraps
• Straps - 1/4 yd (or scraps)
• Backing fabrics (will not show) - 1 1/8 yd
• Lining - 1 yd
• Pockets - 1/2 yd
• Pocket binding - 1/8 yd
• 1 inch of Velcro
• Bag-E-Bottoms C
• 1 large button for flap
• Batting
