Quilted Pocket Purse Pattern

The Quilted Pocket Purse from Indygo Junction is a double sided quilted bag with a large pocket on the front with a hidden zipper and an open pocket on the opposite side.  Additionally, there is a top hidden zipper closure and an adjustable handle.  Finished size is 9 1/2" x 11 1/2", excluding handles.

Materials Needed:

• 2 1/2 yards of 45" wide pre-quilted double sided fabric
• OR
• If machine quilting your fabric you will need:
• 2 1/2 yards of 45" wide main fabric
• 2 1/2 yards of 45" wide coordinating fabric for lining
• 2 1/2 yards of 45" light weight cotton batting
• Additional Materials:
• Two 12" heavy duty zippers
• Two 1 1/4" wide swivel clasps
• Two 1 1/4" wide D-rings
• Denim strength sewing machine needles
• Zipper foot for your machine
• Chalk marking pencil
