Lunch Bunch Pattern

The Lunch Bunch bag pattern is an easy to make pattern for a reusable lunch bag, a large sandwich bag with or without a 1" pleat, and a snack bag.  Also included is a pattern for a circular snack bag that can also be used as a placemat when opened flat and a reversible napkin.  Some pattern pieces are included.

Materials Needed:

• LUNCH BAG WITH HANDLE (10 1/2" H x 8" W x 5" D):
• 1/2 yard of 45" wide main fabric
• 6" x 9" piece of coordinating fabric for front flap lining
• 1" x 14" piece of cotton batting
• 1/2 yard of PUL (waterproof fabric)
• 3/4 yard of Pellon heavyweight interfacing
• 2" piece of hook and loop tape
• PLAIN or PLEATED SANDWICH BAG (Pleated: 6 1/2" H x 6 3/4" W with 1" pleat on each side) (Plain size: 6 1/2" H x 6 3/4" W):
• 1/4 yard of 45" wide fabric or one fat quarter
• 4" x 8" piece of coordinating fabric for flap  lining
• 1/4 yard of PUL
• 2" piece of hook and loop tape
• SNACK BAG (3 3/4" H x 7 1/2" W):
• 1/4 yard of 45" wide fabric or one fat quarter
• 4" x 8" coordinating fabric for flap lining
• 1/4 yard PUL
• 3" piece of hook and loop tape
• CIRCULAR SNACK BAG (14" diameter):
• 1/2 yard 45" wide fabric or 1 fat quarter
• 1/2 yard of PUL
• 3 yards of 1/4" wide ribbon
• Tracing paper
• REVERSIBLE NAPKIN (12" square):
• 1/2 yard of 45" wide main fabric or one fat quarter
• 1/2 yard of 45" wide coordinating fabric or one fat quarter
• Additional materials needed:
• Plastic template or pattern paper for tracing pattern pieces
