Forget Me Not Bag Pattern

The Forget Me Not bag pattern by Indygo Junction has 2 bag patterns that combine fabrics and stitching in 2 different sizes.  The larger bags measurements are 13" x 7" x 3" and the smaller bag is 5 1/2" x 4' x 2".

Materials Needed:

• QUILTED LARGER BAG -
• 1 1/3 yd of denim or other heavyweight fabric for bag, lining, and straps
• Print and striped fabrics for pieced look -5 fat quarters also work well)
• Fusible interfacing (16"x 16")
• Constrasting color of thread
• Magnetic closure
• Flower embelishment (optional) - 2 coordinating 6" x 8" fabric pieces
• One 6" x 8" fusible web piece
• Button for flower center
• QUILTED SMALLER BAG
• 1/3 yd of medium to heavy weight print fabric for bag and straps
• Print fabric for pieced look (fat quarters work well - 2 different prints)
• 14" x 10" piece each of muslin and fusible webbing or a 14" x 10" piece of fusible interfacing
• 14" x 10" piece of cotton print for lining
• Fusible interfacing for straps (optional)
• Magnetic Closure
• 2 3/8" x 5 3/8" plastic canvas or stiff craft foam piece for bottom of bag
• Contrasting color of thread
• Vintage button
