Hi-Tech Tote Pattern

Tote your laptop to the office or overseas with this versatile high-tech tote. Foam padding gives the bag a nice shape as well as insuring a safe journey on the ground or in the air. Additional instructions are given for a padded wrap that can be custom sized to fit your lap top and used as extra protection with or without the tote.

 Outside zipper pocket on one side and divided pocket on the other allow quick access for files and papers. Adjustable or stationary straps. Finished size is 12" high by 15" wide by 3" deep.

• BAG A (Black canvas)
• 3/4 yd. of 60" wide canvas for bag and lining
• Two 1 1/4" x 23" pieces of medium weight interfacing
• 1 yd. of 1/2" thick upholstery foam - sold in 24" widths
• 3 1/4 yd. of 1 1/2" strapping
• 22" sport zipper
• 18" sport zipper
• 1 - 3 bar slide (2")
• 2 - D rings (2")
• 1 swivel ring
• 2 tassels for zipper pulls
• Fabric adhesive spray
• 8 clothspins (optional)
• 3 1/2" x 14 1/2" piece of heavy cardboard for bottom insert (optional)
• BAG B - (Cotton fabrics)
• 1 yd. 44" wide cotton fabric for bag
• 3/4 yd 44" wide cotton for lining
• 1/3 yd 44" wide contrast cotton fabric for handles, straps, and D ring tabs
• Two 1 1/4" x 23" pieces of heavyweight interfacing
• 1 yd. of 1/2" thick upholstery foan - sold in 24" widths
• Six 1 1/4" x 44" pieces of fusible fleece for handles and straps
• 16" x 1 3/4" strip for cording on divided pocket (optional)
• 16" length of 9/32" cording (optional)
