Petite Stitched Purse Pattern

The Petite Stitched Purse Pattern by Indygo Junction is a clutch type bag that displays special machine stitching or hand embroidery. There are instructions for a unique closure that is built into the handle and the finished size is approximately 12" x 6". Version A is non-embellished, Version A & B has decorative stitching, and Version C has decorative stitching & quilting. Included are directions to use recycled denim!

Materials Needed:

• VERSIONS A, C & D:
• 1/2 yard fabric for outer purse body
• 1/3 yard fabric for lining
• 6" x 16" piece of fusible embroidery stabilizer (for version A which is the embellished version) and C only
• 16" x 18" foam interfacing such as By Annie's Soft & Stable
• 1 magnetic closure
• 1 yard of 1/4" wide fusible webbing such as Heat & Bond
• Erasable marking pen or pencil
• Spray Basting Adhesive
• VERSION B: Recycled Denim
• One pair of adult sized jeans
• 1 button front shirt for lining
• 6" x 16" piece of fusible embroidery stabilizer
• 16" x 18" foam interfacing such as By Annie's Soft & Stable (or Bosal Foam Interfacing)
• 1 magnetic closure
• 1 yard of 1/4" wide fusible webbing such as Heat & Bond
• Erasable marking pen or pencil
• Spray Basting Adhesive
