Field of Diamonds Bag - Kimies Quilts Bag Pattern

The Field of Diamonds Bag pattern by Kimie's Quilts is a traditionally pieced purse with appliqued diamonds and fabric waves and a purchased handle.  Finished size is 11" x 14".

Materials Needed:

• Ten 8" x 10" pieces of assorted green cotton prints
• Ten 9" x 11" pieces of assorted pink or red cotton prints
• 1/4 yd of light green cotton print for exterior top pieces
• One 19 1/2" x 28 1/2" piece of yellow cotton print for purse body lining
• 1/4 yd of yellow cotton print for top of purse lining pieces
• Two 14" x 14" coordinating gold cotton prints for appliqued waves
• One 5" x 7" piece of pink cotton print for handle attachments
• One 17 1/2" x 26 1/2" piece of low loft batting
• One pair of arched bamboo handles 6 1/2" wide x 5" high, U-rings attached with removeable screws
• Optional: plastic template sheet for pattern pieces
