Bailey Island Hobo Bag Pattern

The Bailey Island Hobo Bag pattern by Aunties Two is made from 2 1/2" strips of fabric - use a Bali Pop or make your own with left over scraps of fabric!  This pattern includes instructions for 2 different sized hobo bags - a small which measures 11"x 9" x 3" and a large which measures 16" x 15" x 6" when finished.

Materials Needed:

• LARGE HOBO BAG:
• Bag body - 38 strips 2 1/2" x 42/44"
• Binding, handles, and pockets - 1 3/4 yards
• Batting (bag body and handles) 42 strips 2 1/2" x 45" OR about 3 yards of 45" wide batting
• SMALL HOBO BAG:
• Bag body - 12 strips 2 1/2" x 42/44"
• Binding, handles, and pockets - 3/4 yard
• Batting (Bag body and handles) - 14 strips 2 1/2" x 45" OR about 1 yard of 45" wide batting
• Buttons - 2 large (outside front/back); 2 medium (outside sides), 4 small (inside)
• Magnetic snap
• Dream seam tape or any batting seam tape
