Saturday Shopper Pattern

The Saturday Shopper bag pattern by Aunties Two is not your average tote bag pattern!  This shopper bag has 4 inside and outside slash pockets for easy access, two side pockets for water bottles, and sturdy handles.  Finished size is 18"W x 18"H x 6"D.

Materials Needed:  Fabric is based on 44" wide cotton (do not use directional prints)

• Fabric A - Pockets - 1 1/4 yards
• Fabric B - Bag body and lining - 2 1/4 yards
• Fabric C - Binding, handles, ties - 1 1/4 yards
• Duo-Fuse Batting - 1 1/2 yards
• Additionally for the handles, you will need:
• Plastic plumbing tubing (.170 1/4" polyethylene) - 5 feet
• Stiff interfacing (2 strips 1 3/4" wide x 30" long) - 1 yard (Use Rigid Weave, Craf-tex, Peltex, or Timtex)
• Buttons - 2 large buttons or more for that layered look

(Duo-Fuse is a double sided fusible batting that is 44" wide)
