Tupelo Tag Alongs Pattern

The Tupelo Tag Alongs Pattern by Aunties Two are convenient pouches that can hold all your essentials, such as credit cards, make up, money, etc.! This pattern comes with two sized pouch bags as follows: SMALL is 5"W x 4.5"H x 3"D and MEDIUM is 8"W x 5.5"H x 3"D.

Materials Needed:

• FABRIC: Fabric "Pops". Alternatively, for pouches without pockets use 1/2 yard for the body and 1/4 yard for the trim.
• BATTING: Light to medium weight batting. Cut into strips 2.5" wide.
• Fabric for body of bag: (2.5" x 42/44" strips) 4 strips for small or 6 strips for medium
• Binding:( 2.5" x 42/44" strips): 1 strip for small or 1 strip for medium
• Zipper cover: (2 and 3/4" x 42/44" strips): 1 for small or 1 for medium
• Cotton batting: (2.5" x 44" strips): 4 for small or 6 for medium
• Polyester zipper: One 14" for the small or one 18" for the medium (zippers can be longer and cut to size)
• FOR OPTIONAL POCKETS:
• Fabric (full width of fabric) 1/4 yard for small or 1/2 yard for medium
• Fusible interfacing (44" wide): 1/4 yard for the small or 1/4 yard for the medium (Decor Bond by Pellon or similar)
• Polyester zipper: Not needed for the small or two 9" zippers for the medium (or longer and cut to size)
• Embellishments: Four 1" buttons or more for a layered look and one zipper pull
• ADDITIONAL TOOLS:
• Sewing machine with a zigzag stitch, denim sewing needle, rotary cutter and mat
