Rockport Baskets Pattern

The Rockport Baskets pattern by Aunties Two has instructions for whole cloth channel stitched baskets in 3 sizes. The Wine Caddy makes a wonderful table decoration or hostess gift!  Finished sizes are as follows: LARGE 9" tall x 12" wide x 9" deep, MEDIUM 6" tall x 9" wide x 7" deep, Wine Caddy 9" tall x 4" wide.

Materials needed:

• Fabric A (sides, bottom and optional top)
  • LARGE 1 yd
  • MEDIUM 3/4 yd
  • Wine Caddy 1/2 yd
• Fabric B (binding) 1/2 yd
• Handles, Bows, and Tabs can be cut from leftover Fabric A or B
• Double-sided fusible foam batting (Bosal IN-R-FORM PLUS)
  • 1 yd (makes 1 LARGE & 1 MEDIUM)
  • 1/2 yd makes 2 Wine Caddies
• Stiff double-sided fusible interfacing (Pellon 72F) (bottom and optional top)
  • LARGE 3/4 yd
  • MEDIUM 1/2 yd
  • Wine Caddy 1/4 yd
• Heavy duty zip tie (for handles, available at hardware stores) 3 ft
• Buttons 1 3/4" (optional) 2
• Matching Cotton Thread
  • Piecing thread to match side fabric and binding fabric
  • 12 weight cotton thread matching binding fabric for hand sewing
