Easy E-Reader Case Pattern

The Easy E-Reader Case is a great project to make for your IPAD, Kindle,  Nook or other e-readers!  There are 2 styles to choose from - one has a finished size of 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" (Style A internal dimensions) and the other has a size of 8 1/2" x 10 1/4" (Style B internal dimensions).  Inside is a protective enclosure and there are multiple closure options.

Materials Needed: (Fabric based on a 40 to 42" wide fabric, non-directional)

• STYLE A:
• Outer fabric -  1/4 yard
• Lining fabric - 1/4 yard
• Fusible Fleece (42" wide) - 1/4 yard
• Fusible medium weight (20" wide) - 3/8 yard
• Ultra firm stabilizer - 3/8 yard
• Elastic (1" wide) - 1/2 yard
• Hook and loop tape - 10"
• STYLE B:
• Outer fabric - 1/2 yard
• Lining fabric - 1/2 yard
• Fusible fleece (42" wide) - 1/3 yard
• Fusible medium weight (20" wide) - 5/8 yard
• Ultra firm stabilizer - 5/8 yard
• Elastic (1" wide) - 1/2 yard
• Hook and loop tape - 12"
• FOR BOTH SYLES:
• 1/4" doulbe sided adhesive hem tape (Steam-A-Seam 2)
• Two 1" wide D-rings
• One 1" long swivel badge clip (or lobster clasp with D-ring attachment)
• One 1" Charm for front (optional)
